THE BITE SIZE FILM FESTIVAL

The Bite Size Film Festival and The Big Short Film Festival kick off their inaugural years with an evening of spine-tingling short films in the heart of Shoreditch. Championing new and emerging filmmakers, this event provides a fantastic opportunity to network with industry professionals and to showcase your work on the big screen, perhaps for the first time ever!

Hosted by London’s intimate Close-Up Cinema, The Bite Size Film Festival is open to all filmmakers from around the world, from any background or level of experience. Selected filmmakers will be invited to attend the screening event on October 30th in Shoreditch. Attendance is not mandatory, but if we loved your work, we would love to meet YOU.

As it will be spooky season, we are looking to showcase the most terrifying short films that the world has to offer. Whether it’s zombies, slashers, or the self-destructive nature of the human soul, we want films that make up leap out of our seats or leave us shaken to our core. Horror, sci-fi and fantasy shorts are preferred, but thrillers or dramas will also be accepted if they illicit the same emotional response.

Doors will open at 6pm. Following the screening, there will be an opportunity to network with fellow filmmakers at a local venue (TBD). The Big Short Film Festival will open for submissions in November, covering all genres of short film.
